About Langdon Place of Dover - Dover, NH

Langdon Place of Dover is a continuum of care community featuring multiple models of care to meet the changing needs of patients and residents as they age under one roof.

Langdon Place of Dover offers three tiers of residential living (equivalent of independent living), assisted/senior living and memory care. Many residents start out in our residential living then can add services as care needs change and health issues arise. You can change levels of care in assisted/senior living as you age in place or go from residential living to assisted living, but you don’t need to change apartments. There are no buy-ins or large up-front fees here. You simply rent your apartment for a minimum of 60 days. After the 60 days, we require a 30 day move-out notice.

Our Residential Living Community offers large & small one and two bedroom apartments that include full kitchens. Additionally three meals per day are included in our packages but you are able to obtain a credit if you only prefer one or two meals per day. Our dining room serves gourmet chef-prepared food and our kitchen is able to accommodate the dietary needs of our residents. We have a full size heated indoor pool & spa, library, private dining room for family functions, full service beauty salon. Additionally we have laundry services available onsite for independent residents to launder their own clothes. All our residential residents are provided with emergency call pendants and have access to nursing care in times of emergency or illnesses. Residents also have access to occupational, physical and speech therapy services. We have a full slate of more than 150 monthly recreational and social activities for our residents. We are also pet friendly.

Our Assisted/Senior Living Community offers one and two bedroom apartments as well as smaller private suites and shared suites. We are also able to offer different levels of care to fit the individual care needs of each of our residents. We have nursing staff in the building 24hrs/7days a week and each resident is given an emergency call pendant as well. Additionally, we provide three gourmet chef-prepared meals daily, housekeeping and laundry services, daily activity and enrichment programs including up to 150 monthly recreational and social activities, local transportation, indoor heated pool & spa, library, private dining room for family functions, beauty salon and a therapy gym with occupational, physical and speech therapy services. Personal laundry service is available for an additional cost.

Our Memory Support Unit provides a safe and secure environment for those residents who have a diagnosis of dementia or early Alzheimer’s Disease. The staff in this 2- bed unit are specially trained in dementia care. We offer private and semi-private studio-style apartments. They also have a full slate of recreational activities that provide mental and physical stimulation targeted to dementia. Their care includes three gourmet chef-prepared meals, laundry service, and access to a full service beauty salon and a therapy gym with occupational, physical and speech therapy services. A geri-psychiatrist visits the unit to consult with patients.
