Some merchants offer deals for the 55-and-up crowd, while others’ discounts start at age 60 or even 65. But when you turn 55, a few more deals are on the table.<\/span><\/p>\n If you’re 55 or older, you can get a free drink with the purchase of a meal at participating KFC and Whataburger locations. You’re also eligible for discounts on coffee at McDonald\u2019s. In most cases, the transit authority will want you to visit their office to show your ID or Medicare card and get a senior transit pass made with your photo on it.
