We\u2019ve rounded up some of the most notable Catholic senior care options around Los Angeles to help you find what you need.<\/p>\n

Home help, emergency aid, and case management in L.A.<\/h2>\n

Catholic Charities of Los Angeles<\/strong> provides a web of social services across an 8,500 square-mile area. Among its programs are two designed to help seniors live better at home. The Older Adult Services and Intervention System (OASIS)<\/strong> serves several hundred LA-area seniors each year with financial assistance, case management services, errands, and companionship. The Gatekeeper Project in Long Beach offers free needs assessments, food deliveries, transportation help, and case management referrals for low-income and disabled seniors.<\/p>\n

Other Catholic Charities programs can help local seniors in crisis. The Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence<\/strong> in Long Beach offers emergency housing for seniors and others who find themselves homeless.
