Best Assisted Living Communities in Houston<\/h1>\n

According to a recent study<\/a><\/span><\/span> by the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA), over 90% of assisted living residents surveyed are satisfied with the quality of life in their communities. Assisted living is a type of care option for seniors who need some assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene, but do not require the level care provided in a skilled nursing facility.<\/p>\n

In honor of National Assisted Living Week (September 8th<\/sup>-14th<\/sup>, 2013), SeniorAdvisor.com has compiled a list of the top five Houston assisted living communities<\/span><\/a><\/span>. As a ratings and reviews site for senior care communities nationwide, SeniorAdvisor.com delved into its review base to determine what assisted living communities are the best in the Houston area, based on reviews from residents, families, and visitors. Communities met requirements for a minimum number of reviews and an overall rating of at least 4 to have made this list.<\/p>\n
