For the fifth year in a row, SeniorAdvisor.com is proud to announce\u00a0the top senior living providers in North America<\/a>, based on the ratings and reviews of the people who know them best \u2013 the residents and families who have earned their trust. The awards, which are based on SeniorAdvisor.com online ratings and reviews, recognize the top 1% of senior living communities and agencies across United States and Canada.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThese communities have earned the stamp of approval from the people most qualified to rate them \u2013 residents and families,\u201d said Ben Opps, General Manager of SeniorAdvisor.com. \u201cWe celebrate their achievements and are honored to make this information available to other families who are looking for the right senior living community for their loved one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Over 1,600 assisted living, in-home care and other senior housing providers across the United States and Canada were recognized this year. More than half of the winners offer more than one type of care to seniors. Assisted living<\/a> was the most represented care type, followed by\u00a0memory care<\/a> and\u00a0independent living<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The top three U.S. cities this year for the most winners were San Antonio<\/a> and\u00a0Houston<\/a>, with a two-way tie between\u00a0Chicago<\/a> and\u00a0Tucson<\/a>. Texas<\/a>,\u00a0California<\/a>, Florida<\/a>,\u00a0Illinois<\/a> and\u00a0Ohio<\/a> were the top states.<\/p>\n

These winners also have staying power \u2013 nearly half of them have received a Best of Senior Living designation before.<\/p>\n

To qualify for a SeniorAdvisor.com Best of 2018 Award, communities must have maintained an average overall rating of at least 4.5 stars and have received four or more new reviews in 2017.<\/p>\n
